Hello, friends!
So sorry for having not posted in so long- I fear that I have neglected this poor lonely little blog... :(
Yesterday as Hurricane Irene was making her way up the east side of FL we decided to go to the beach and take a peek at the waves... We were not disappointed!
The waves were huge, the surf made it's way almost all the way up to the boardwalk, the whole ocean swelled and foamed. (All I could think of was "Even the wind and the waves obey Him!") I was nearly knocked over by the wind as I stood on a bench on the boardwalk trying to take video and photos...
Notice how close it was getting to the boardwalk?
We drove home and in between the bands the sky was GORGEOUS!
Momma called me outside and told me I may want to take a picture... and I did- but it wasn't half as cute as the photos I took a few seconds after with the glorious, natural, beautiful, God-given lighting!

Peter :-)
But you probably already knew that...
Even in the midst of a storm-especially in the midst of a storm- there is evidence of the Lord's majesty and beauty. :) Thank you, Lord!
Please keep praying for those along the east coast of the US that are going to be hit by this monstrous storm... we were 200 miles away from where the storm was passing and the winds and rain were fierce...
Oh, just for laughs- you might want to check out a post from a few years ago that we did during Tropical storm Fay... Enjoy :-)
~Amy
