Me, Hannah, and Melody all stayed up 'til MIDNIGHT last night, working of John-David's Birthday cake!!!We made the cake that afternoon...
The batter was YUMMY!
Happy-gail totally agrees:)
Melody sneaks a lick...
Shove 'em in the pan!!!
Hannah and Abigail...sissies:)
Waiting...waiting....waiting...
Done!!!
Now Wait some more for it to cool...:)
That night @ 8:30(starting time):
Making the chocolate icing... We had to make 3 batches for the whole cake!!!
We cut the two 9x9 in half to create four layers in which to STUFF with MORE CHOCOLATE!!!
The chocolate base is ready!!! The canvas is calling our names!!!
We made the green frosting aka the "grass"...no, it's not suppoesed to look like a face!
We wrote "Happy Birthday" on the sides instead of on the top. (Melody's idea)
Great idea, Mel!
Hannah was reading to us to pass the time...notice how it is pitch black outside...
The dinosaurs were in line for auditions for who was to be on the cake...:)
Me and Hannah...sissies:)
The finished product!
Happy Birthday John-David!!!
