Daddy's Birthday

Last weekend (the eighth) was Daddy's birthday!
We -for the first time all together as a family- went out on our sailboat!

(I was using a disposable waterproof camera so that's why the pictures are grainy!)

Needless to say, Violet wasn't thrilled with the life vest choices...

They put up flags as we motored along... don't they look so cute???

This was the first voyage out with the long shaft motor that Daddy spent so much work on- he'll tell you that it payed off! After we had our fill of cruising we headed back to where we had moored it and caught the buoy (Abigail kept calling it the "booby") with an extendable pole that Daddy got at West Marine the first time! (Usually that NEVER happens!) We had an awesome time!
