Not too long ago our grandparents bought a 20-acre "ranch" up several miles north of us. We have been going there at least every weekend to work or play but sometimes the neighbor next door allows us to ride her horse, Shadow (with whom Violet is deeply in love naming every toy around the house, "SSadoww"). Well the first time she showed us all how to ride but this time she let Hannah and I ride by ourselves and help the little ones ride while she rode her other horse, Sonny, who is too rambunctious for us to ride! :) We all had lots of fun- before the ride she showed us how to saddle the horses too.... we figure we should learn all we can so that once we get horses on the ranch (or mules :)) we can properly take care of them!
I left my own camera at home for fear of rain so Daddy and I took these pix with his phone:

It's good to see you back to blogging. What fun! That would so be Kelsey's thing. It's great to have a neighbor that has horses that will let you ride them. What a blessing.
